Cut off the backwards pin. Now I have more questions. When I try to slide the sub frame over the rod on the tractor, not certain where it is supposed to go. One arm had been bent in so I straightened it. That set the width about the same as the tractor frame. The only place it lined up was directly under the tractor frame and it didn't want to go on--appeared to be hitting the frame. I was able to pull it apart to go outside the frame and the mounting brackets for the foot rest/mower lift rod. Now the front of the sub frame is about an inch wider than the tractor, nothing appears bent on that end. Note, the pic showing where I mounted the sub frame to the rod shows another bracket behind it, that was a PO mod for something else. Thoughts?
