Got a better idea
Start looking for a better compressor and spend the money on that instead.... You'll be able to do the job easier and you'll end up with a bonus. The job will be done, you'll know it's done right and you will end up with a compressor left over that should last for many years and many more tractor jobs. Start scouting CL, something good will turn up.

I bought mine out of the local classifieds 20 years ago and not sure if that or my 2 post lift was the best $500 I've ever spent... Each cost me the same.
My compressor is 5hp 80 gallon upright/ 2 stage/ 4 cylinder pump, runs off of plain old 220.. can't remember it's either 17 or 19 cfm at 175 PSI
Remember it's cfm that you need.
