If the push rod is popping out of the rocker you have some sort of problem. My guess is you have a valve hanging up. Or you have an over heating condition causing the valve to stick in the open position. I suggest that you find out what is causing the problem before it gets more expensive. Did you check the valve clearances, or did you just pop the push rod back in place?
