I conquer on 7-8 hp. being anemic .
I find an 18Hp magnum twin adequate and if the snow is heavy & deep you don't get in a hurry, and a magnum, is known for it's torque.
Now if you are just displaying your tractor with Qa at shows/parades it will look purdy mounted.
I'd hate to see you waste work/money/time and be disappointed in it's ability to work effectively.
