So if my timing looks to be dead on using the static timing method, how do I reconcile this?
Also, some other thoughts: The points are new, I used the ones included with the aftermarket rebuild kit. It did not come with a condenser, so my old one is on there. I am also using the same coil and spark plug wire that it had when I got it.
I wonder if any of these could be causing the problem?
