Default Tractor loses speed going up hill

My LTX 1040 has about 15 hours on it. I have changed the break-in oil and put on a new filter, which is a breeze with the easy fitting on the engine. The oil filter is also super easy to access.

Soon after I changed the oil, I noticed that the mower loses speed going up my 15 degree hill. I hadn't noticed before because I usually mow at a much slower speed while mulching my grass. However, I was in a hurry to put the mower away, and noticed half way up the hill, the mower began to slow down to a crawl.

I have spent hours on the 'Net to find directions on how to adjust the drive belt that connects to the CVT pulley, but have only found diagrams for parts lists. There seems to be no way to adjust the belt.

Does that mean I am probably going to have to replace the belt? It doesn't squeal or make any noise, it just slows way down!

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Daniel
