Default 147 hydraulic lift build

I have been toying around with what to do with the 147 to make it hydraulic. I have a power steering pump I was going to try but decide on putting the ported 129 pump in. This is not going to be a fast build so I didnt really want to post anything about it but got to excited I guess. This parts 129 is not going to have much left of it when Im done putting stuff on my 147 and 1872. I got the rear end out today. Found squirting pb blaster on the grease build up and letting it sit and blowing it off with air did a pretty good job so far on cleaning it up. I have it soaking down again for tomorrow. I don't plan on painting it. Just cleaning it up before I put it in the 147.

I have a picture or 2 showing the spark plug socket thing I rigged up to test it with a drill. Worked good.

I have a Gilson valve and a Montgomery Wards Gilson cylinder. The cylinder does leak and don't appear to be rebuildable so Im probably going to have to find something else. Unless somebody thinks this can be fixed. The cylinder is welded together. I haven't really checked to see if its to long or not either. Not sure where to put the valve either. I want to have everything hidden when Im done. Or at least the hoses. Thats going to be the hard part I think. Not much room.

The 147 currently has manual lift but did have electric originally. I still have all the rocker shaft and other stuff to put back on and plan to put the cylinder where the electric one was.

I still need to find the spring and cone thing for the relief valve on the pump. I have a guy trying to hook me up with one. If anybody has one and wants to sell it please PM me and let me know what you want for it.

Like I said this is going to be slow. Just thought I would swap rears while I figure the rest out.
