I had a valve rebuilt about 6 months ago, seats/seals redone by a guy in Ohio, for around $50. He split it apart, cleaned/machined/replacing seals and seats then I think he spots or resistance welds them back together? Very satisfied with results/$. He had this service on ebay, but haven't seen it, as of late? I could contact him and ask if he still does this service? If interested?

I don't know why people have them rebuilt when you can get new ones for $55 each. From the tech section of the site.
