Now, I need some help with my Electric PTO.
The manual says there should be a .060 to .090 gap between the driven disc (2) and the driving hub (3).
Mine is uneven, like the driven disc is bent or something. It's obvious even to look at it. The two pics were taken by rotating the driven disc and taking photos of two sides:
So that's the first problem. Then the manual says to put it all together, and then measure the same gap to get .010" and adjust by tightening the nuts on the brake flange:
I totally don't get that. Isn't that the same gap I just measured @ .060 to .090? And how is it going to change by tightening the nuts on the brake flange?
Maybe I'm just getting tired...
