Default AGS Transmission Compatiblity

I have a '95-'97 Cub AGS 2130 with transmission problems (suprise-suprise). I have found a complete transmission out of a AGS 2160. Does anyone know if these transmissions are compatible?

I am particularly concerned about the AGS/Hydrostatic unit bolting up. Did all the 2100 series tractors use the same AGS unit and transmission unit?

Just a quick background, the problem is that the tractor will not go forward. This has been a progressive problem starting with trouble going uphill in 3rd and 4th, till only 1st gear worked in forward, and now nothing. Reverse works fine in all gears. The AGS/hydrostatic unit was rebuilt and clutches were replaced. I have found forums that have said that the shift key inside of the gear set wears and so do the key slots in the gears. As they wear and round-off, no-more go forward. These gears run about $50 a piece and I don't know what else I may find wrong, so I want to swap the transmission, and then work on rebuilding the stock one at my leisure. Thanks for the help and insight.
