From the looks of the tractor that is a 1250. The 1250 had mechanical lift like that one. I don't see headlights, I am almost postive 1450's and 1650's came with headlights and both did come with Hydro lifts, not mechanical lifts. Call and ask him for the serial number located either at the back of the rear end or on the left side of the frame above where your foot would rest. We can tell by that number what it is. We will need the complete number.

The seller said that the model number on the cowling is 1650. May it has a 1650 cowling on a 1250. I agree, now that you point it out, that it appears to be a 1250 and not a 1650. I plan to look at it in any case because it is the only CC I have found in decent shape for the last couple of months. I'll check the S/N as well as the engine. Should be a Kohler K341AQS as nearly as I can tell. The 1250s had a K301AQS, according to the owner's manual I downloaded.

I sold my 1250 with deck and front blade for around that price. Don't get me wrong there is not a thing wrong with a 1250, I really liked mine. The only downfall is the mechanical lift, but with a helper spring it isn't all that bad. Keep us posted.
