My wife, granddaughter and I picked up our first Cub this afternoon. I found it on craigslist. My granddaughter and I will restore it for her 4H project.

The good: It is in pretty good original condition. It is almost complete. It cost me $150.00.

The bad: It does not run. It has a red engine. The grille is missing.

So far I am really impressed with the tractor. It is truly massive. By weight only, I feel like I got a good deal.

I need to know how to push/move the tractor without damaging the hydro. I need a little background on what appears to be a replacement engine. The serial and model numbers follow.

The tractor's serial number is also below. What year is it?
