147R update
How come you guys get so much done on these? I just keep finding more parts to weld clean patch and or paint!
I striped the side stickers off the 127 dash plastic. repaired a worn spot in the side of this piece from the mower handle. Cleaned sanded and primed.
Sanded and filled some spots on the 127 tower after it was blasted. primed it and shot it with the upside down spray can of IH red. Also painted the bracket for the mower activation handle. Painted the metal part that is directly behind the battery.
Sanded and ground some cast flash from areas of the front grill casting. It ready for paint maybe tomorrow.
Last night I pulled apart the rest of the engine and ground the broken area in the skirt. Now to get some outside mics and inside mic's to check the crank and bore dimensions.
I think I may be about 70% into this project. It's starting to grow on me!
Hope everyone is having a good week!
Looked at another tractor last night. More to come on that if the guy accepts my offer. Do I need a new toy? NO!
Regards,
Chris
