Thanks guys. I know the tractor pretty well as my grandparents bought it new for my dad when he was a kid. As my grandparents got older the neighbor kept it running. He ment well but rigged a few things. I dont believe it was cut or anything. I think it was maybe a defective part or it got bumped a few times and fatiged it.

How much is involved to convert the front to the larger 1 inch spindles? Just spindles and new bearings for the wheels or new wheels also?
