CC71 Brake adjustment
I need to stop as good as I go. With 50# wheelweights I'am not stopping when I back down the ramps of the Cub shop. As I understand the Blue Ribbon Service manual, adjust the brake adjusting screw "IN" to make up for slack. So my question is: If the adjusting screw is touching the lock nut, is it time to replace/re-line the Brake lining disc? I think I have about 1 inch to go before the two meet. I do have some brake, more so on flat ground, but not on any incline. Never made any brake adjustments to a CC before, so I wanted to ask the Pros.! Thanks, John
