Sorry Matt but I'm not 'harsh'.
I spent about $12k over the last 9 months and I studied prices most of those months, I've seen better deals. I learned the hard way, you'll never get your money back, it's that simple. Once I get into working on one I find it's the little parts here and there that drain my play money.
Someone got a nice 1772 in OK a couple of months ago for $1500, I'd rather have a Super if I'm gonna go diesel.
I know a guy in OH that bought a 2084 (?) Cyclopes diesel with a 2 stage blower for $750 running, hood was broke.
There are deals out there if you want to look.
I'm about to pay $95 for a NOS dash, wish I could find a 'good' used one for $45.
As for tires, climb my hills with old hard tires, I dare ya.
