Very much needed repairs. Throw the balance gears as far away as you can. They are bad mojo. Always replace the governor gear and also the cross shaft and cross shaft bushing. I went with the factory plastic gear. My 128 ran for 37 years with a plastic one, so I had no issue going back that route. If you can buy a good cast gear then by all means I would get one. Just a matter of personal preference.
