Do a google search for "gator blades" to find the cheapest place to get them. That's the best thing we've found so far.
The engine is governed. It sounds like the governor on your engine needs adjusting. Unfortunately, it's a pain on these twin Briggs engines because of the stupid carb and governor linkage that it has. Sometimes I wonder if all the Briggs engineers got drunk before they designed that part of the engine...
