If I can find a good engine i will not part it. I just took the mower deck and sub frame off. spindles are nice and tight no play. Belts in good shape. Pulleys good. Almost lost a foot. Had the deck up againist the trailer (I know thats a stupid move) working alone and I hit the trailer deck fell down i jumped out of the way but it hit right across the big toe OUCH. will lose that nail! REMEMEMBER GUYS SAFETY FIRST EVEN AT HOME. STUPIDY TAKES NO VACATION. I guess i'am lucky if it hit above any futher it would of broken the foot.
Couple of questions: 1)Are spindles all the same between the diffent decks
2) are all tire rims from the different models interchangeable.
3) is their a way with out a engine to see if the hydrostatic transmission is still good.
