Default Newest Acquisition

Just picked up this 2185 today so the good ole 682 can get a motor transplant. This has a great running 18hp Command engine in it. Best part it was on a barter deal. My friends step Dad picked up this very neglected 325 JD and wanted me to bring it back to life. Says he would give me the 2185 for payment and he would buy all the parts to fix it. List of items done on the JD.
1. Completely rebuild front axle hanger. Was ready to fall right out.
2. Repair seat pivots.
3. Engine work included adjusting valves, rebuilding carb and removing 15 yrs of crap from under the engine tin. Every single fin the the engine was plugged solid.
4. Change both hydro filters and hydro fluid.
5. Install new tire and tubes on the front.
6. Repair hood pivot brackets.
7. Pressure wash entire tractor
Here are pics of the 2185. She ain't pretty but runs and mows like a dream.
