Hey how's it going everyone!!!!

My family and I attended the Caprock Classic Car Club Car show this past weekend in Slaton Tx. My Brother and I entered our parents 1974 Chevy Vega into the car show. We didn't win any awards but we sure did receive a whole bunch of nice comments and compliments. People were surprised to see a Vega show up at the car show this year. It was the only Vega at the car show. The judges were pretty impressed on how well kept the Vegas is. One of the judges even asked my brother and I where did we find her. They were surprise to know that my parents had bought the car brand new back in 1974 in Lubbock Texas out of a dealership called Modern Chevrolet. But what really impressed the judges and plus all the people who were at the car show, is the fact that this little car has gone through 5 overhauls and has traveled over 1 million miles.It was pretty much the center of attention at the car show. They even invited us back for next year. We're planning on attending in another car show in Levelland Tx. It's about an hour drive from where I live. But that car show doesn't take place until next month. So we've got plenty of time to get ready for that one. Can't wait though.lol It sure is a lot of fun!!! Here are some pics from the car show.
