Presenting the sickle.... now to work out the bugs
Well I got a little more done today than what I expected.... I got the Haban wiped down a little, tried some cleaning wax and I'm pretty pleased with the result.
The sickle mounted easy enough, but there's still a few bugs I need to work out. One is it's mostly dragging the ground on the bar side, there's got to be a way to adjust that... Another was the knives were pretty much rusted tight... about an entire can of PBblaster and soaking. Now I've got to get the v-belt adjusted, it's real loose... I've got a scanned manual, but it's horrible quality once I got looking at the pictures, basically a copy of a photocopy...
