Default Scored an Original

A couple days ago I started a thread about the value of an Original. It turns out that there has been an O sitting outside a barn two doors down (1/2 mile) across the street since last fall. I don't know how I missed it for so long, but finally noticed it last week. Last week I stopped by to ask if it was for sale. Today, I struck a deal with the owner. The machine was his great aunt's which she purchased new. The machine got parked in the barn about 15 years ago because the clutch wouldn't release all the way. Other than that, he said everything else worked ok and it ran good with no smoke. So, here are some pics of #55,624:

It's all there, but needs a lot of TLC. The only major thing missing is the air cleaner. The engine is free, as are the deck spindles. The deck obviously has a huge hole in it, but oddly the rest of it is really solid.
Anyway, I'm going to slowly restore this thing as time permits, no rush. I have other projects that need attention first.
So, after all that, was $90 a good deal?

EDIT: So, searching around on the web, I found a guy selling a pair of rear fenders for an early Cub Cadet. Are the O fenders the same as 70/100 by chance?
