might want to try an atv/ racing kill switch. I have seen them , used them, but never wired one in. Its a switch mounted on the handlebars, with a plastic clip which has to be in place on the switch. The clip is attached to the operator, with a lanyard. if operator leaves machine for any reason, ignition is killed. You
could wire it through another solenoid which connects power between battery and tractor. Never have that problem again. Plus, if she falls off for any reason, tractor would stop automatically, and she wouldnt be physically tied to it as was suggested earlier.
Id rather cut the grass for her.
