Well since I couldn't go plow today, I have been needing to redo my fuel tank for the 128. I have grown sorely tired of sanding, LOL.
I went to Ace Hardware and picked up a quart of Zip-Strip paint stripper. WOW!! Why hadn't I been exposed to this stuff before, LOL.
It took the tank down to bare metal FAST. I then put a very nice coat of primer on it. Will lay some paint on it later on.
I also decided to take the tunnel cover down to bare metal too and covered in primer. The hood and front cast grille will be next, then will do the tower.
Will the fiberglass dash hold up to the stripper? Thought I should ask before I found out the hard way.
