we actually made one similar to that for my friends Sears with the electric 3pt hitch. this thing will pick up the front of a cub and the 3pt locks to take the stress off the electric actuator. its actually really cool. just slides under the front axle and the tabs on the back keep it from sliding off. we are gonna paint it. and, i gotta make brackets so it will fit on my cub 122 with hydraulic lift and speedex and stuff.

That is a cool idea,just be sure you dont mess up that back blade bracket,if he has the whole thing they worth quit a bit,as is the 3 point unit.
