The 1650 is a HOSS of a mower. Lots of torque with that big 16 horse motor. The QL's do have problems with the original engine ISO mounts, but on the plus side they are fairly easy to replace, and there is a cradle modification you can make that will cure the problem with the mounts. The Hydro units usually need some adjusting and might need a trunion repair, all of which are discussed here in depth. Again nothing hard to fix. I had a 1250 and really like it. I did all repairs on mine mentioned above myself. If all the parts are there and it looks to be in good shape, I think you would enjoy it.
