The thing that I have noticed is that if you are looking for a model it seems like that model is the rarest one. And right after you do find one and you pay more for it then you want. Those darn thing come out of the wood work and are selling for half what you paid in better shape.

That being said I would think that any diesel would be more rare with the 1772 being the rarest. (I want one soo bad)

I figure the reason for that is the farmers in the 80's were having a hard time keeping food on the table and buying a new diesel mower was not a priority.
