Here are the other filters that will work. I use the Wix 51410 on all of my Cubs.

For the transmission oil....
Cub Cadet is not or were ever capable of making a hydro transmission so they subbed that work out to Sunstrand or Hydro-Gear. Your machine has a Hydro-Gear transmission in it. If you look in their manual here is what it says.....

I do not know why Cub Cadet would ever want you to buy their over priced oil but just remember it may void your warranty if you don't use their stuff.
I run Wix filters and TSC oil or Rotella 15W-40 in all of my Cub Cadet transmissions. I do not have any decent Cub Cadet or IH dealers within 100 miles.
