Flip it, the AGS transmissions are very problematic. They are a 6 speed with a forward and reverse wet clutch design. Many people were told that they were a hydro system so they slipped them to the point that they burned them up. Proper operation called for the operator to pick a speed then hold the pedal in full forward or reverse. Quick test is put it in 6th and see if it slips trying to climb a hill, if it does the clutch is toast.
