2072's are great machines. The rare early ones had the Onan B48G motors and then they switched over to the Kohler Magnum 20 engines. They were CCC built from 1987 to 1989 and have the aluminum rears in them. They came standard with turning brakes, front remotes and power steering. Options were rear pto and a cat 0 lift.
As with all machines built with the aluminum rear you need to check and see if all the mounting bolts are snug at 30ft/lbs that bolt the rear assembly to the frame and check to make sure the front tabs on the assembly are not broke. There are fixes for all these issues so it's not that big of a deal but would make a good bargaining tool if there are issues.
Got any pics of it?
