inspect pulley alignment
i bought a RZT50 because the owner had a similar issue. When I got it home i noticed the pulley was about 1/4 inch too high and wearing the belt on the bottom. after taking it off I saw the key was worn/cut and the pulley was riding too high on the shaft. replaced the pulley with old stock, everything aligns perfect and sold for $900 profit
