Turn your key on (but not start) when it is cold. Listen for a click down by the carb. When it fails, do the same and confirm the click is still there. If not, that is likely your problem. Also check to make sure you don't have something floating at the bottom of the gas tank that is plugging it up.
Hello again. I was finally able to get some work done on my cub cadet. I did try bypassing the carburetor solenoid, no help. I then replaced the carburetor along with a new solenoid. The gas tank and the lines are clear. I also made sure all the cooling fins were cleaned. Again, like clockwork the engine stalls at about 2 minutes every time. I'm at my wits end and have replaced most everything. Starting fluid would keep the engine running is the only clue I can give. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything else I can try or make sure of. Thank much!
Kevin
