Kinda wet and cooler this year. Hard to get anything done because when I have time it is too wet to do anything. The weeds are really growing great again this year!

Potatoes

I need try and get them hilled asap. I noticed a few Colorado potato beetles have destroyed a few of my plants. I don't recall ever seeing them in the years past. What do you guys & gals use to kill them?

Tomatoes

I just got these in the ground. I start all my plants by seed and these should have been planted a few weeks ago. They were probably 16" tall. I'm doing all heirloom this year. I have Cherokee Purple, Hungarian Heart & Amish Paste. I have 111 tomato plants in the ground. I have about 50 cages so I may try the Florida Weave on the remaining for support. I don't think I ever planted these type before have any of you?

About 10% didn't come up or the crows got it and now I see the deer have nibbled a few down pretty good.

I still need to try and get some squash and beans in but I hope it's not too late.
