Default Cub Cadet GT2554 - Kohler CH23S - Replacing Fuel Pump Question

I'm trying to get my mower running after winter storage and am having some issues. When trying to start, I wasn't getting any fuel coming out of the outtake of the fuel pump (pic), so local shop suggested I replace the fuel pump. I've since purchased the part, and in the instructions (pic) it states that if you have the original circular-pivot rocker arms (in engines below serial no. 2520800017) you need to convert them with Valve Train Kit 24 755 66-S prior to installing the fuel pump kit. My engines serial number is 3611502031 (pic), so I thought I'd be ok, however when looking at the rocker arms in my mower (pic) they look more like the original arms seen in the illustration of the instructions. Or maybe I'm wrong (hopeful this is the case) and what is installed is the new arms.

So looking for any guidance on if I really need to replace these arms or not prior to installing the new fuel pump? Mower had ran fine with the previous fuel pump for a few years. This issue came up when taking it out of winter storage.
