Like I said In Your Tiller thread, the creeper Is Nice, But really Not necessary.
I have a Number 2 tiller on My Cub Cadet 106 (10 HP version of your 126) with Creeper gear, and I just Leave it In High (normal speed) and till in 1st gear. The Last owner installed a Creeper Gear for snow throwing and never did take it out of High (normal speeds) for snow throwing either. I have always found first gear is usually perfect—not too fast or too slow. I almost think the Creeper seems like a waste on my 106, and I really don't use it. For new ground and even tilled ground, I usually plow before I till the garden.
