It's a common issue for hydro transmission tractors to experience hard starting in cold weather.
Since the drive line has a constant connection from engine to transmission the hydro pump is cranking as the engine cranks.
The colder weather causes the hydro oil to thicken, thus adding significant resistance to the turning of the drive line and engine.
About your only recourse is to get a battery with a high CCA (cold cranking amps) rating and provide some warmth to the transmission, such as a space heater or heat lamp.
