Okay, after taking way too long to assemble the Harbor Freight hydraulic press, I have disassembled the clutch again and have provided photos of a lot of the parts. Included are photos of the shaft coming out of the rear of the machine.

I am assuming that the wear showing on the “collar” of the end of the shaft is abnormal and probably part of my problem.

As for “truing” my plates, I know a lathe is best practice, but has anyone done tempered glass and sandpaper?
