One update on that pump. While everything fit back together (I'm waiting for the gasket sealer to cure) the neck of the pump up near the flange for the pulley mount is slightly fatter than stock.
This allowed the stock bolts that hold the pulley to the flange to hit the neck of the pump. I removed them all and put a lock washer under the head of the stock bolts, retightened and all was good.
Hopefully I can still bend up the thin metal sheet that is formed up against the head of the bolt to keep it from backing out as well.
