This is the drive hub/pulley where the grass screen is at the operator end of the engine. I got it off though I did fracture a bit of the hole where the pin goes. I think it will be OK as the only place where the pin loads that hub is below where the fracture is. I don't think that pin puts any load at the thin part of that hub pocket.
The only other choice I had (and I should have done this) is to take a pair of dykes and cut the rim of the grass screen out so that I could remove the tin from the engine and then more precisely lever that hub out. I'll keep an eye out for one of the hubs (the one I linked to is sold) in case my thoughts about the drive pin to hub interface is wrong and put it in the Cub bins just in case.
The pin came out of the flywheel without any drama and I moved it to the new engine (which had it removed).
Interesting to think about all the load on that little Zamac pulley!
