Those set screws can be tough to get out. Use a high quality US made allen wrench. One thing I've done that has been helpful, is to get a long thin punch that will fit IN the bottom of the hex recess (not touching the flat sides) and give it a good whack or two , in order to loosen the interface between the housing and the allen screws. Then follow with some Kroil or PBlaster
This has worked for me. As others have pointed out, there should be TWO Hex screws in there, so you'll get good at this.
Above all, don't twist off the flats or snap a wrench in the set screw. Impact and penetrating fluid have always done it for me (and above all, patience!)
