My local tool rental years ago had a 16hp John Deere, (model number escapes me at the moment) with what I think was a Brantly back hoe unit. They said it worked well except for going over ruff ground, it would get hung up. Four wheel drive would have helped allot. It seemed to be a heavier unit than the kwik way and still handled it pretty well. I would give it a shot.
