I’m actually picking the motor up this weekend. One of those deals that is just 2 good to pass up. It’s a complete motor minus the carburetor. It turns over fine and I was told it was removed from a WH with a bad hydro. I plan on doing a compression test before I get 2 deep into anything with it.
Just a quick look on the side of the Magnum 12 were the points would be on a K241/301,I don’t see any provisions for the points such as the plunger to move the points. So I’m guessing you are running the electronic ignition that came on the magnum, are you also running a magnum flywheel with the starter ring gear or one of the other Kohler flywheels by chance?
Hopefully I have a chance this weekend to start figuring out some of the things for the project!
