John set his Hitch Up to work directly off the Battery. Actuator to switch, switch to Positive and Negative Battery Posts. Positive wire has a fuse in it.
I have John's Universal Hitch On My JD GX335 I also Have Johns Electric Lift Upgrade On my OEM sleeve Hitch for My Cub XT3GSX and the wiring is set Up Like Johns Universal sleeve Hitch
On the electric Lift actuator replacement I did the wiring as IH did the wiring, actuator to switch, Switch to ignition. Ignition to Negative Post on the Battery, have to turn Key to Run actuator on 106
