I had original equipment type tires on the front of my 125 and I use it for plowing snow. About 10 years ago the tires were dry rotted, needing replacement, so I put on narrow, ribbed tires on the front thinking that they would help with steering on snow and ice. It was a little better, but the improvement was not dramatic. I've often thought about adding weight to the front to help steering, but haven't done it yet. When the blade is angled, the tractor goes where the blade pushes it.
As for Ag tires on the back, I put them on 2 or 3 years ago and have never been sorry. They do not tear up the grass like I had been told and they do give better traction on dirt.
If you need chains on Ag's for snow pushing, make sure you get chains that have cross chains every other side link, instead of the standard cross chain every forth side link. It makes a HUGE difference.
