With the engine off, the transmission in neutral and the clutch disengaged, can you easily spin the driveshaft by hand? If not, the driveshaft is likely dragging in the bushing in the clutch drive plate at the back of the engine. Loosen the engine mounting bolts and shift the engine until the driveshaft spins freely and tighten the engine bolts. I’ve had to do that on my 100 after installing the engine.
