Default Kohler Engine Differences
I have a 1872 with a Kohler 18. It's not running right and is leaking a lot of oil (maybe the front main). I haven't looked into it yet. Now for the question. Would a newer Kohler 20 from a cyclops be an easy swap? Same hole pattern? Drive shaft? PTO? Hood clarences? Which of the Kohler motors are considered to be better? Thanks for any insight.
