Removed the rear end cover and drained the remaining diesel fuel out last night. While it drained made a new gasket out of some fel-pro 3046 gasket material. Tip- a .357 mag shell casing works great for punching out the bolt holes in the gasket. Cleaned up the mating surfaces and installed new gasket. I then removed the shifter cover and filled with one gallon of NAPA brand UTHF. I know, it's not HY-TRAN, but it is better than nothing. I will put HY-TRAN in next spring when I tear back into it. One question, what is the torque spec for the rear cover bolts?
