Zinc is actually a very good thing for the slippers in the hydro pump. It resist's high loads, that's why it's desirable for diesel engines. I honestly don't care one bit what you put in your stuff but I'll stick with 15W40 diesel engine oils like Shell Rotella T or Mobil Delvac.
