A short introduction, I always bought cheap box store tractors and had to replace them every couple of years. In 2005 something major happened to our tractor and I was leaving for a race the next day. So I went to Home Depot and bought a Cub Cadet gt1554. I suffered with that tractor for 7 years before I replaced it With 2 used Ingersoll tractors. They were much better but the mule drive was still problematic. Our lot has a lot of steep hills and valleys. So last summer I picked up a Cub Cadet 3185 and a 3235.The 3235 leaked oil from the rear but I added 1/2 quart each week and we never had a problem with it. I paid about $300 for each. A couple of weeks ago I bought a never used 50" deck and last week I bought a 48" deck that was only used 3 times since 2004. I also bought 2 nos inner bushing blocks for the 3235. I just rebuilt the pto and steering on the 3185 and next month I will rebuild the rear on the 3235. I have several cnc machines, 3 manual lathes, mig tig welders and a plasma cutter. I can make almost anything. When I repair the 3235 I will find a replacement bushing and let everyone know where to source it. If Oak would share the oring #'s I should stock I would appreciate it.
